Visitors

Our good friends Dan and Mariana came to town (they live in LA) for a wedding and stayed with us in Edmonds. We had a great time catching up and showing them our new home town - including all of our coffee shops :) Lucy has had a few "stranger anxiety" moments the last few weeks, but seemed very happy and content with our visitors!

Everything On The Head

It seems that everything is going on the head these days (as you can see from the pictures)! She loves playing peek-a-boo and can easily put things on and off her head, face, etc. Not crawling yet, but likes to stand while you hold her hands. We finally bought a high chair - decided to go for the great deal of $19 from IKEA, and Lucy loves it! She likes to use her voice, both loud and quiet.

Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak of what is to come on Halloween night! Lucy is going to be a cute little pumpkin (a hand-me-down from her cousins). The City of Edmonds blocks off 5th Street and Main street to provide the kiddies with a safe place to trick-or-treat from 5p-7p -- the merchants downtown hand out candy to the some 5,000 kids in costumes and parents. The Myers will be there handing out candy, representing John L. Scott, since Lucy won't be eating any candy this year :)

Exersaucer

Another great baby invention, the exersaucer. Lucy loves it!

Football Season Underway

It's hard to be a husky fan these days, but Lucy and Will (Misty and Steve's little boy) are enjoying the tailgating aspect. The pack-n-play works perfect for contained pre, during, and post playtime for the little ones.

Pool Time At G'ma Karen's

This was from a month or so ago, but thought it would be fun to post some action version still shots -- we'll take more short videos of her soon saying "dadadada" and giggling.

Sitting Pretty

Lucy is sitting pretty these days with little help from her parents. She has super strong legs - always kicking - and loves to stand in your lap and "run" towards Scout on the floor. She spends lot of time in her exersaucer playing inside and outside, and as you can tell still LOVES food. She's had all kinds of veges and fruits, and is just now starting meats and will do small bites soon (...as soon as mom and dad buy a high chair for her!) :)
