State Traveler...to NY and DC
Lucy and mom joined dad in NY (he went for work) for a few days and enjoyed the sites...Rockefeller Square and Today Show taping; Central Park play area and zoo; Brooklyn park, restaurants, and shops (thanks Carrie!); meeting dad's colleagues; eating out; taking the subway; and more. We had a great time - Lucy stayed on Pacific Time most of the time, so it was out until 10:30ish and sleeping in until 9:30ish.
After NY, we took the train to DC to visit Jessie, Dominic, and Henry. We visited the white house (from the outside), played in the big grassy area, toured the portrait museum, stopped at the zoo, and helped Henry break in his new 1 year old birthday toys :) Besides the flight home, we had a GREAT time and can't wait to go back and take more time to tour the museums.

Cruising to Alaska
We had a wonderful cruise to Alaska (thanks Gary and Judy!) - left from Vancouver with stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway ports as well as Glacier Bay and the College Fyords located in Prince William Sound, ending our trip in Anchorage. Only one day of rough sailing (20+ foot swells!), thank goodness. Lucy has great sea legs and got around just fine on the boat. Her favorite meal was "pasta pasta pasta" for dinner, which our waiter was nice enough to give her every evening. Enjoy the slide show...
