P-Town

Are we crazy? The answer is yes. After only being home for four days, we left for Portland to spend the weekend with Aunt H and G'ma K. Lucy got to hang with her second cousin Gigi, which was super fun but lack of sleep was not super fun. It's nice to be home say the parents.

Pumpkin Patch

We (the whole family) went to a pumpkin patch with Lucy's "little fishes" pre-preschool class, and Lucy picked out a white pumpkin and a green pumpkin to bring home.

Aloha

To HI and back, a week goes by so fast...Lucy loved the pool, although still doesn't go under water and Betsy had a great time getting to know her great grandparents. We saw dolphins (at a fancy hotel) , turtles, and lots of waves. Thanks again Lon and Sally!!

We finally had some professional photos taken of the girls, here are just a few to share for now...we went down to the waterfront in Edmonds and it was a great evening!

Big Month

September was a big month following the wedding season...Husky season began; Betsy got her two front teeth, starts to "crawl", and is eating solid (pureed) foods; Lucy can spell her name l-u-c-y, point out most states on the US map in her room, and her 2 year molars arrived; the girls got bedroom makeovers with new carpet and molding (and Betsy got bright green paint); mom sold a house; dad planed a block party; the pool table is leaving us to make room for 2 girls "things"; and I'm sure I missed a few things...and, in case you are wondering, Betsy is not going to be a bear for Halloween, it was just cold outside :) Lucy finally decided on what she will be for Halloween, and it's not an astronaut like we all thought. More to come on that later this month.

Two Weddings and a Rodeo

It was a busy first few weeks in September...LJ/Frank's wedding, Ellensburg Rodeo, Penny/John's wedding, G'pa Gary and G'ma Judy in town...now back to normal operating.
